While I was in Oakland last week, I stayed with my friend Erin, who is both a techie (that's why she's in the Bay Area) and a musician (that's how I know her). Erin recently acquired a new piano. I wish I had been there to watch the piano movers bring it up her steep driveway, and the switchback stairs to her hillside house.
